Andy Jennings originally graduated with a degree in economics and went on to a successful career in the corporate exhibitions and events industry organising and launching international events in the technology, banking, food, restaurant and wine markets. After a number of years in this industry he decided upon a complete career change to pursue his growing interest in chiropractic and healthcare. This took him to the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic from which he graduated with a Masters degree in Chiropractic before returning to London.
During his time in practice Andy has developed a keen interest in treating problems associated with poor posture and office work, such as headaches, neck pain and back pain. He also enjoys treating the elderly and those with specific health requirements. Andy has also been involved in research looking at functional rehabilitation and the beneficial effects of regular Tai Chi practice on overall health in both the young and old.
Andy enjoys working with patients in a positive and understanding way, recognising that every patient has different needs and preferences. He uses a variety of evidence-based chiropractic techniques including manipulation, mobilisation, soft tissue techniques and rehabilitation to enable patients to achieve their personal health goals. He is a keen cyclist, loves the outdoors, is still trying to perfect his squash game and has a passion for cooking, eating, travel and good shoes.
Andy is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of the British Chiropractic Association.
Emily graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic after moving to the United Kingdom from Canada.
Emily has always been interested in a career in healthcare. While working towards her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in her hometown of Ottawa, Emily worked in a variety of roles at the Ottawa Hospital. Her interests in evidence-based medicine led her to a career in public health research with a focus on improving community health.
Emily also has a keen interest in fitness and sports and has worked in the industry for the last ten years. She is a qualified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and CrossFit Level 1 Coach and enjoys motivating and exercising with others.
Emily was first introduced to chiropractic after sustaining injuries in a car accident in her teens. She continued to seek supportive care through her fitness training and experienced firsthand the multitude of benefits of chiropractic treatment. Emily was then inspired to forge a new path from public health research to a rewarding career in chiropractic.
Emily thrives on helping individuals reach their peak potential, whether that be high-level athletic ability or simply pain-free movements of daily living. Like Andy, Emily utilises a variety of techniques as well as chiropractic adjustments, such as soft tissue treatments including instrument-assisted soft tissue release and kinesiology taping. Treatment will be customised to your individual needs to decrease pain and restore joint function, thereby delivering the highest quality of patient-centred care. While always on the quest for self- improvement, Emily continues to expand her repertoire of skills through continued education and professional development.
When Emily isn’t at the clinic or the gym, she enjoys traveling, cooking and trying out new restaurants.
Emily is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association.
