Sitting down for more than 4 hours a day can put you at an increased risk of developing obesity, heart disease, diabetes and even cancer.

That’s why the nation is taking to their feet to stand up to their right to good health.  Are you going to do the same?

On the 29th April  this year, On Your Feet Britain day will see people all across Britain making simple changes throughout their day to sit less and stand more! It may mean walking instead of driving, standing to do your chores instead of sitting or something as small as getting up to move from your desk more frequently. No matter how small these changes may be, they will make a positive impact on creating healthy daily habits.
