What are you putting your back through everyday? Central London Chiropractor Motionback shares this advice

40544999_lHere as a leading London Chiropractor we treat people everyday who are suffering from back pain and other injuries. Two of the main causes of back pain are sleeping and sitting. A report has found that over 77% surveyed, were currently experiencing back and neck pain or have suffered from it in the past.

Most people are surprised to find out that it is sleeping that puts peoples backs out. 43% of respondents say that sleeping was the main trigger for their back pain and it seems that our modern lifestyle is the main cause for our pain, as 44% said that sitting was the trigger.

With many of us sitting for 6 hours a day, on average, as a leading London Chiropractor we would like to share this advice to keep you active.

  •  Try to sit up straight, make sure the top of your computer screen is level with your eyebrows
  • Try to keep moving every 30 minutes, even if its just stretching your arms and fingers and shrugging your shoulders
  • Test out your mattress. To make sure you buy the perfect one, lie on your side with your neck twisted to one side
