January is in full swing and after weeks of festive indulgences, many of us are embarking on some serious health kicks. 1: Out of sight, out of mind.
It is far easier to resist temptation when temptations are not within reach, so throw out any unhealthy snacks and treats before you start your health kick.
2: Eat Clean
Try to purchase organic ingredients so that your meals are free from herbicide and pesticides. If this isn’t possible, wash your food thoroughly before you prepare a meal.
3: Relax
Each morning do some gentle stretches and deep breathing exercises to help keep your mind calm and focused (even if it means setting your alarm slightly earlier!). Meditation CDs are a great way to relax your mind and body at the start of each day and yoga is also extremely effective. The body achieves what the mind believes, so make sure to get that powerful mind in focus!
