1: Specify Your Goals.
What does “I’m going to get in shape” really mean? Do you plan on reaching a certain weight or do you want to be able to run a 5k race? The more specific you are with your goals, the easier it will be to reach them.
2: Measure Your Progress.
If you can measure it, you can change it. Simple. Tracking your progress, and comparing where you are to where you were when you first started, is a fantastic way of keeping motivated.
3: Talk about Your Goals
Support is a key component of success. It may make you feel a little vulnerable to share your personal goals, but having the support of your nearest and dearest will dramatically increase your chances of succeeding.
