These days our busy and hectic lifestyles mean that we can over look simple but yet important things to do with our posture. We spend lots of time bending over to look at computers and slouching at our desks in work, which in turn can cause back, shoulder and neck pain.
Here at Central London Chiropractor Motionback, we would like to share some advice and tips on how to keep loving your back.
- Try to remember to sit up straight and get out of your seat every 30 to 40 minutes
- When driving make sure you are sitting as far back in the car seat as possible
- Good footwear is essential for good posture. Soft soled and supportive shoes with a good grip are recommended
- When going to sleep try to adopt a sleeping position that won’t put strain on your back, such as laying on you side instead of on your front with your neck twisted
