If a patient attends the clinic the data forms part of his/her clinical notes (digital and paper). This is retained for 8 years after the patient was last seen or discharged. This follows guidance from the GCC and the NHS Records Management Code of Practice for Health and Social Care 2016. We do not treat children and understand a different retention period applies to this category.
9. How and Where Do You Store or Transfer My Personal Data?
We will only store or transfer your personal data within the UK. This means that it will be fully protected under the Data Protection Legislation.
